Restaurant Hööri – Quality Food at the Foot of the Fell
Restaurant Hööri is located at the foot of Pyhätunturi’s main slope, right next to the main slope’s lower lift station and the lower ski rental shop. The name Hööri comes from an old Lappish word meaning good weather and good luck – and there’s plenty of good Hööri to go around throughout the day!
During the Day – Café Hööri
Café Hööri opens daily from mid-November at 10:30 AM, serving a selection of café favourites, including sweet and savoury treats as well as hot and cold drinks. At the beginning of the season, the café closes at around 5:00 PM. As the season progresses and evening skiing begins, opening hours are extended.
À la Carte – Restaurant Hööri
We serve lunch daily from noon, with à la carte dishes available from 4:00 PM. In the evening, our authentic charcoal grill brings out the rich flavours of one juicy steak after another, alongside delicious fish and vegetarian options.
Our meat is sourced from Finnish producers, with the exception of Iberico pork. Our reindeer comes from local reindeer farms, while our beef is sourced from Southwest Finland. With an extensive selection of beers and wines, you’re sure to find the perfect pairing for every dish – or simply stop by, relax and enjoy a glass of quality wine.
Seasonal Opening Hours and Evening Skiing
At the beginning of the season, the lifts close at 5:00 PM, and Café Hööri closes at the same time.
When evening skiing begins, Café Hööri stays open until 8:30 PM, while the lifts close at 8:00 PM.
During the season, à la carte dinner service starts at 5:00 PM and continues throughout the evening.
