At Vaisko, we love good, uncomplicated food that still knows how to surprise – and we’d like to invite you to experience it for yourself. Our dishes highlight local ingredients and the treasures of nearby forests, as we pay respect to local producers and raw materials. From time to time, classic ingredients from around the world also find their way onto our plates, adding a hint of adventure to the dining experience.
The name of our restaurant, Vaisko, carries a story from the past of Luosto Fell – it is an old name for the fell and means “perch” in a certain Sámi dialect. This deep connection to nature and history is reflected in our dining experience as well: from simplicity and quality emerges a unique whole.
Alongside good food, we value quality drinks. In our wine cabinet, you’ll find selections perfect for socializing as well as ideal pairings for every dish we offer. Beer lovers can enjoy a small but diverse assortment of both domestic and international options. From our cocktail list, you can choose familiar classics or try our own creations, born from a love of flavor.
You are welcome at Vaisko even just for a drink and a moment of unhurried enjoyment. In our atmospheric loft, which seats about thirty people, you can spend a delightful evening with your group.
