Idyllic Lappish feeling
Reindeer restaurant Kopara is located in beautiful, remote place between Pyhä and Luosto, next to skiing and snowmobile tracks. It is also easily reachable by car. Window seats in Kopara are the only ones where you can see a clear view to the thousand-year-old fell chain. In Kopara you can taste an authentic reindeer soup and from beginning of february we offer also sauteed reindeer. We also serve self-made sweet and savoury pastries, especially traditional Kopara’s blueberry pie with black pot coffee has become a hit among the skiers.
We share the place with Reindeerpark Kopara and Arctic Husky Farm so you can enjoy arctic animals around or take a memorable safari alongside your dining or coffee experience. In the evening Kopara serves private events. In the same courtyard is located a cosy and authentic reindeer herder’s hut, where we host events and gatherings around open fire. Kopara’s souvenir shop offers quality products from Lapland, for example reindeer hides and antlers, knifes, belts, hats, mittens and jewellery.
